“I’ve been taking French lessons with Anaïs for a little over two years now, initially once a week, and lately twice a week on a consistent basis. I started as a complete beginner so at first we followed the textbook closely to build solid foundations and cover all the basics.

Once that was done, Anaïs gradually introduced more conversation practice, which has been incredibly valuable. I am learning French in order to communicate with my partner’s family and friends, and it is so rewarding to feel like I’ve progressed every single time we visit France.

I was a little nervous about picking up French as the last formal learning I had was at school (and that was quite a while ago), but my tutor Imene has been excellent - the lessons are paced perfectly, I'm challenged enough to keep it interesting and exciting, and I’m managing to remember the material we cover.

I’ve tried several learning methods over the years, including audio, books, and software/apps, but face-to-face learning with Anais and Co is just on another level.

Imene has tailored the lessons perfectly; we start with a recap of the last week and then move on to the next topic. She’s patient, encouraging, understanding, knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions, it has been (and will, I’m sure, continue to be) a pleasure learning with Imene.
